    List of notable Jewish sportpeople and athletes

    See also: List of Jews in sports (non-players)

    This list of Jewish athletes in sports contains athletes who are Jewish and have attained outstanding achievements in sports. The topic of Jewish participation in sports is discussed extensively in academic and popular literature.

    Sports have been a historical avenue for Jewish people to overcome obstacles toward their participation in secular society. Many Jewish people immigrated from the countries where they had faced persecution to the United States or have made an Aliyah to the State of Israel.[1][2][3]

    The criteria for inclusion in this list are:

    • 1–3 places winners at major international tournaments;
    • For team sports, winning in preliminary competitions of finals at major international tournaments, or playing for several seasons for clubs of major national leagues; or
    • Holders of past and current world records.

    • Some of these queries are very complicated and take time to run. If the page doesn't fully load, refresh the page and try igen.
    • Pitch velocities from 2008-16 are via Pitch F/X, and adjusted to roughly out-of-hand release point. All velocities from 2017 and beyond are Statcast, which are reported out-of-hand.

The DUKE represents a replacement to the Sidekick, and whilst it looks every much the same, it comes with a number of updates and improvements. Ed explains that these are made and assembled in New Zealand from parts sourced in USA, China, Canada, New Zealand and Italy. Nice.

    Before getting into the meat of the review, it's fair to say that I haven't reviewed all that many banjo ukuleles on the website. One thing is also cl
