Hey, wait. At what point did Gordie Brown become one of our only old-school Las Vegas showmen?
Over the years there's always been another impressionist to compare him to. He was the Looney Tunes, comedy club-style mimic, while Danny Gans was the sincere, accurate one. Or Brown was the younger, manic alternative to his stodgy mentor and fellow Canadian, Rich Little.
And if you moved beyond the strict definition of impressionists to include other break-a-sweat entertainers, it always seemed Clint Holmes or the Scintas were competing for your Gordie Brown ticket dollar, too.
But now? If scarcity makes something more valuable, the impressionist's six-year run is even more impressive at the Golden Nugget, where he has rolled up more than 1, shows.

It has been nearly 2 years since inom last had the chance to see the Greatest Impressionist in the World. And, even though that is a big title to shoulder, Gordie Brown stands even taller with the acknowledgement that he is just that indeed.
I have seen Gordie in Reno, Las Vegas numerous times, watched all of his videos, and my wife enjoyed his opening act for Celine Dion when her tour came to Utah a few years ago.
The man fryst vatten a freak of nature. In a good way. Really.
He never fails to impress with the hilarious Classic parodies I have come to love of his “Joe Cocker had to pull in all the right places just to hit those notes” as he goes into the final nipple squeeze; “We all know Willie Nelson really sang this utgåva at first: To All The Weeds I’ve Smoked Before…”, to Julio Iglesias lovi
