A Norwegian actor-producer is suing a former BBC News anchor for allegedly sexually manipulating him and spreading false rumors to force him out of the production company he founded, according to a complaint filed Wednesday in L.A. County Superior Court.
Ryan Wiik is suing Tasmin Lucia-Khan for defamation, fraud and invasion of privacy.
Wiik says he launched WR Films Entertainment Group in 2009 to develop and produce feature films — specifically, to make a franchise based on a series of classic Western books by Louis Masterson. In 2013, Wiik entered into a talent agreement with his company to star in the first Morgan Kane film and two potential sequels.
The actor met Khan in 2015, and she convinced him he needed her to protect him from damaging press if and when his company went public. Then, Wiik says, Khan seduced him in an effort to manipulate her way into a position of power within

Norwegian Cowboy Actor Claims CEO Seduced and Betrayed Him
For years, Ryan Wiik yearned to play Morgan Kane, a hero of Norwegian cowboy fiction. He acquired the rights to the 83 novels in the Kane series, penned in the ’60s and ’70s by author Kjell Halbing, and then spent years preparing for the role of the Wild West gunslinger.
But according to a lawsuit filed Wednesday in L.A. Superior Court, Wiik was thrown off the project in December after being betrayed by his company’s CEO. The suit — which reads more like “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” than a Western — accuses the CEO, Tasmin Lucia-Khan, of seducing him and manipulating him in order to gain power and a larger share of the profits from “Morgan Kane.”
In an interview, Lucia-Khan called the allegations “defamation” and “insulting.”
“I think it’s very uncool to kind of pull the seduction card,” she said. “I pride

Norwegian Cowboy Actor Settles Lawsuit Against Ex-Lover
Norwegian cowboy actor Ryan Wiik has settled his lawsuit against his ex-lover, whom he accused of seducing him and then firing him from the production company he founded.
Wiik filed suit in March, alleging that he was betrayed by Tasmin Lucia-Khan, the BBC presenter whom he recruited to serve as CEO of WR Entertainment.
Wiik’s attorney, Neville Johnson, confirmed Wednesday that “the matter has been resolved,” but declined to comment further. Lucia-Khan’s attorney, Marvin Putnam, declined to comment.
Wiik established the company a decade ago and acquired the rights to “Morgan Kane,” a series of Western dime novels popular in Scandinavia. His intention was to play the titelbärare hero. He recruited investors — mostly from Norway — but was unable to bring the bio to fruition. Last year, he hired Lucia-Khan to run the company in anticipation of a public offering on a Norwegi
