    The Black Eyed Peas is an American musical group from Los Angeles, California. Over the years their music has included hip hop, R&B, dance and Latin. The group currently has three members: Will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo.

    • Stacy Ann Ferguson, better known by her stage name Fergie, was born on March 27, 1975. She is an American R&B singer, actress and songwriter of Irish, Mexican, and Scottish descent. She was revealed by the kids TV series Kids Incorporated and another TV show, Great Pretenders. The TV series revealed her talents and she began her career of singer with the R&B trio Wild Orchid which became the group of the Black Eyed Peas. She acted in the movie Nine which came out in theatres in 2010. In 2017, Fergie left the group to focus on her solo career.[1]

      The Black Eyed Peas is an American hip hop and rap group, founded in Los Angeles in 1995. They started out as an alternative band, but over the years, their style became more pop and dance-oriented. Today, after enjoying mainstream chart success, they have sold more than 76 million records across the world.

      The band was named as the second best-selling artist of all time in terms of downloaded tracks by Nielsen Sound Scan in 2011, with more than 42 million downloads, behind only Rihanna. They were ranked seventh in the Billboard Hot 100 Artists of the Decade in 2010 and have won six Grammy awards between 2005 and 2010.

      How it all began

      The Black Eyed Peas’ origins lay in the first meeting between band members will.i.am and apl.de.ap (in the days when they were known as William Adams and Allan Pineda) in 1988, when they were eighth graders at John Marshall High School in Los Angeles.
